Leland Cameron Dickens, 22, of Sparks, passed away, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Born on June 17, 1999, in Tifton, he was the son of Jennifer Shannon Dickens Scarbor and Benjamin Lee Scarbor. Cameron worked for Dickens Monument & Vault Company and in the funeral services. He was of the Methodist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Henry and Ray Jean Jernigan, Delma Dickens, Velma and W.H Buckholts.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Cadden Dickens, Conner Dove, Amber Dove, Sienna Dove, and Kagen Moore; aunts and uncles; Jeremy Dickens and wife Autumn, Jessica Braswell and husband Denver, and Jacie Duke and husband Stephen; cousins, Ava Dickens, Alivia Dickens, Shelby Braswell, Addison Braswell, Laney Braswell, Mabre Braswell, Hartlie Braswell, Max Braswell, Bailie Duke, Blaklie Duke, and Bain Duke; grandparents, Danny and Patricia Dickens, Charlotte and Charles Burgamy, and Debra Buckholts; and great grandmother, Imla Dickens.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Omega Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Brannen officiating. Will Cox, John Curtis Rowan, Billy McClendon, Josh Barnes, Luke Strong, and Jamie Robinson will serve as pallbearers. Tim Smith, Jeremy Jones, Johnathan Moorman, Monty Copeland, Blake Jackson, and Wilder Elliott will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Omega City Cemetery with Rev. Chris House officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 22, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
