Charlotte Elease Hood Lovell, 74, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, June 2, 20201 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. James Tyson officiating. Interment will follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, Georgia.
Born on November 25, 1946, in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Craven Hood and Florine Griffin Hood. Mrs. Lovell worked as a manager for the Habitat for Humanity. She loved flowers, cooking, and making all kinds of arts and crafts. She was well known for her jewelry making. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Hood, Bobby Hood and Larry Hood; and sister, Shirley Hood.
Mrs. Lovell is survived by her loving husband, Harry Douglas Lovell of Moultrie; brother, Tony Hood and Clara Bell of Tallahassee; sisters, Kay Risiner and husband Harry of Tifton, Diane Pitts and husband Tommy of Tifton, Mary Jo Perry and husband Butch of Baconton, and Barbara Lovell of Cordele; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, 2021, 10am-11am.
