Gloria Treglown Burke

Gloria Treglown Burke, of Adel, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Pruitt-Health Crestwood in Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. John Hendley and Rev. Chad Payne officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church sanctuary.
A private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, Georgia.
Born on November 3, 1930, in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Nolan Fulton Treglown, Sr. and Pauline Lindsey Treglown. Mrs. Burke was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Mitchell Burke; and her brother, Nolan Fulton Treglown, Jr.
Mrs. Burke is survived by her daughter Julie Burke McDaniel and husband Royce of Adel; grandchildren, Jonathan McDaniel and wife Lydia of Adel, Jennifer Knutson and husband Mike of King Georgia, VA, Jonathan Parrish of Nashville, TN, and Brett McDaniel of Pittsburgh, PA; great-grandchildren, Landon McDaniel, Marlee McDaniel, Riley Knutson, Jackson McDaniel, and Meri McDaniel; and sister-in-law, Jane Treglown of Texas.
