James Forrest Grogan, Jr., 66, of Norman Park, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles and Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Jeremy Sutton, Jason Sutton, Bradley Burnham, David Miller, Joey Roberts, and Brab Young will serve as pallbearers. James Sutton, Rick Wheeler, Roy Luke, Mike Mercer, and John Warner will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Grogan was born on September 1, 1955, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Forrest Grogan, Sr., and Doris Roberts Grogan. Mr. Grogan loved his family and fishing. He was a poultry farmer and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Mr. Grogan is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Pat Warner Grogan of Norman Park; daughters, Barbara Grogan of Norman Park, and Beth Grogan Faircloth and husband Wilson of Leesburg; grandchildren, Jenna Faircloth, and Ella Faircloth both of Leesburg; and his faithful companion, Rusty.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
