James Troy Horne

James Troy Horne, 79, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Deep Bottom Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Davis, Warren Walker, Mark Bell and Bruce Bell.Born on October 8, 1938 in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Larnce Horne and Vada Gunn Horne. He retired from Mactavish as an Industrial Sewing Machine Mechanic.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lightfoot Horne of Moultrie; sons, Dale Horne of Lenox, Donnie Horne and wife Felisha of Adel, Bruce Bell and wife Joy of North Carolina, and Mark Bell and wife Shari of Moultrie; grandchildren, Stephanie Griffin and husband Dustin of Adel, Victoria Horne of Pearson, GA, Justin Horne of Valdosta, Sheldon Horne of Adel, Tyler Horne of Adel, and Courtney Bell of North Carolina; brother, Cecil Horne and wife Cletia of Tampa, Fla., and Louie Horne and wife Ada of Adel.Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
