Jimmie Crosby

Jimmie Maurice Crosby, 85, of Moultrie, died Friday, November 29, 2019 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born on May 31, 1934, in Colquitt Co., Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Lee Crosby, Sr. and Vera Ricks Crosby. He retired from GTE Telephone Co. and was a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church in Norman Park.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, W.L. Crosby and Herman Crosby; and sisters, Faye Waters and Ellen Shaw.
Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife, Sara Nell Weeks Crosby of Moultrie; son, Victor Maurice Crosby and wife Susan of Fruitland Park, Fla.; daughters, Karen Crosby Abdullah of Jacksonville, Fla., and Tina Crosby of Moultrie; grandchildren, Christopher Crosby and wife Abigail of Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., Eric Crosby and wife Taylor of Leesburg, Virginia, and Kimberly Crosby of Tampa, Fla.; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Crosby, Bradley Mangold, Olivia Crosby, and Easton Crosby; sister, Gail Smith and husband George of Moultrie; sister in law, Betty Crosby of Moultrie; and brother in law, Frank Waters of Hartsfield.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
