HARTFORD, Ala. - John W. Wyatt, 76,  of Hartford, Ala. died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala. Services will be Saturday, April 16, at 3 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Tyson officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/ Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Randall Freeman, Tony Blalock, Daniel Wyatt, Robby Tillman, Keith Blalock, and Randy Tyson. Born on July 18, 1941, in Hahira, he was the son of the late Willie K. Wyatt and Allene Griffin Wyatt. He was a Heave Equipment Operator for H.B. Zackery Co. and was Holliness. He was preceded in death by son, Timothy Wyatt; daughter Linda Lucretia Williams; brother Dean Wyatt; and sister Merlene Brownlee. Survivors include his wife Linda Darlene Wyatt of Hartford, Ala; son John Scott Wyatt and wife Stacia of Enterprise, Ala.; brother Edward Wyatt of Kansas; sisters, Mary Ward of Omega, Bessie Tate and Husband Ken of Lakeland Fla., and Mattie Long of West Virginia; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
