Richard Aubrey Godley

Richard Aubrey Godley, 75, of Moultrie, passed away at his home on Friday, December 3, 2021.
A private graveside memorial will be held at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.
Born on September 24, 1946, in Beaufort, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Jadie Aubrey Godley and Doris Ella McAlhaney Godley. Mr. Godley was the owner of Godley Transmission who also served in the United States Navy, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janine Partridge.
Mr. Godley is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Maxwell Godley of Moultrie; son, Jadie Aubrey Godley of Moultrie; daughter, Dori Godley Fox and husband Robert Lee of Athens; grandchildren, Trace Aubrey Godley and Dylan Kate Fox; brother, Roy Godley and wife Mary of Norman Park; and sister, Paula Whittington of Moultrie; A very special nephew Shannon Paramore and several special nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
