Tammy Sheree Mercer (photo) NORMAN PARK Tammy Sheree Mercer, 51, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at her residence. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Berlin with burial at Cool Springs Church Cemetery. The Rev. Stuart Bundy and the Rev. Teddy Burch will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shane Roberts, Scott Roberts, David Sinclair. Chris Brooks, Jamie Mercer and Stephen Burley. Ms. Mercer was born Feb. 17, 1964, in Moultrie, a daughter of Ola Maude Guy Mercer Dodd of Norman Park and the late Rev. J. B. Mercer. She was a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church, and she operated Tammy's Child Care. In addition to her mother, survivors include her brother, Mike Mercer and wife Pat of Norman Park; two sisters, Cheryl Sinclair and husband Hinton of Norman Park and Denise Brooks and husband Jerry of Omega; a brother-in-law, Darrell Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and special friends and caregivers, Sandra Royals, Aimee Moore and Jessie Beal. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Mercer Roberts. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at the funeral home.
