Tommy Earl Willis (PICTURE) NORMAN PARK Tommy Earl Willis, 68, of Norman Park, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., today, Jan. 7, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Foster-Whiddon officiating, assisted by the Rev. Danny Moree. Burial will follow in Leila Methodist Church Cemetery with Randy Holloway, Robert Tillman, Woody Weeks, Jonathan Vickers, Ashley Whiddon and Hunter Whiddon serving as pallbearers. Born May 19, 1945, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Edgar Willis and Bessie Pettett Willis. He was retired from the City of Moultrie and was also affiliated with Weeks Auction Company. He was a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church and he attended Buck Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Willis; and a sister, Hazel Willis Weeks. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sheffield Willis of Norman Park; daughters, Tommie Beth Willis of Norman Park, Chrystal Willis Vickers of Norman Park and Toni Willis Daniels and husband Ted of Hartsfield; grandchildren, Meghan Lovett, Brooke Lovett and Jonathan Vickers; nephews as close as brothers, Grady Weeks and wife Wilda of Ocala, Fla., Steve Weeks and wife Kathleen of Sylvester, Ga., Woody Weeks and wife Jolane of Ocala, Fla., and Tim Weeks and wife Joetta of Ocala, Fla.; a niece as close as a sister, Susan Weeks Whiddon and husband David of Norman Park; and beloved pet, Lady. Visitation will be held on 6-8 Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
