Wayne Harold Morris

Wayne Harold Morris, 65, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The eulogy will be given by his son-in-law, Matt Hilton.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born on May 20, 1957, in Aurora, Illinois, he was the son of Mary Casner Morris George and the late Maynard Harold Morris. Wayne was the owner/operator of Custom Metal Works. He started the business over 40 years ago until his retirement. Wayne loved his family. He enjoyed working and being outdoors. He was excited and anticipated the arrival of his newest grandbaby, Baby Jo.
In addition to his mother, Mary Casner Morris George of Illinois, he is survived by his loving children, Shane Wayne Morris of Ocala, Jessica Joleen Hilton and husband Matt of Moultrie, Wayne Kyle Morris of Moultrie, Jeremy Christensen of Satellite Beach, FL, and Colt Chaney and wife Nakeya of Moultrie; grandchildren, Carson Chaney, Paxton Jordan, and Everleigh Chaney; sisters, Cathy and Don Goble and Beth Proesch, all of Illinois; special friend, Kathy Morris of Moultrie; and his beloved dog, Bella.
