Abbie Tyler

Abbie Jean Folsom Tyler, 75, of Ellenton, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Leila Church Cemetery with Rev. Lennon Howell officiating, Robert Veal, Jeff Sexton, Ivon Folsom, Kevin Strickland, Stacey Edwards, and Chris Folsom will serve as pallbearers.

Born on September 12, 1945 in Colquitt Co., Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Gordon Folsom and Veda Hall Folsom. She was a homemaker and was a member of Ellenton Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Weeks; second husband, Lorenzo Pete Tyler; daughter, Patricia Ann Weeks; sister, Mildred Millie Greene; brothers, Gordon Folsom, Eddie Folsom, Arthur Folsom, and Robert Folsom; and brothers-in-laws, W.J. Stalvey, Joseph B. Gay, and John Earl Beck.

Mrs. Tyler is survived by her brother, George Folsom and wife Geneva of Adel; sisters, Elizabeth F. Strickland and husband Lewis of Adel, Blondine F. Stalvey of Adel, Jeri F. Gay of Adel, and Diane Beck of Ellenton; sister-in-law, Lois Folsom of Ellenton; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
