Ada Louise Allen

MOULTRIE - Ada Louise Reese Allen, 76, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Memorial Services will be Sunday, April 17, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Christian Life Center with Sgt. James Allen officiating assisted by the Rev. Corey Shiver. Born on Jan. 1, 1940, in Eufaula, Ala., she was the daughter to the late Irby Reese and Lizzie Mae Allen Reese. She was a Flint River Textile weaver for over 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Allen, sons, Steve Donnell Allen, and Bobby Joe Allen, Jr.; daughter, Sandra Marie Allen; sister Mittie Reese Marshall; and great-grandchild Jace Hester. Survivors include her daughter Sharon Cannon and husband Alan of Moultrie; brother, James Edward Allen and wife Vicki of Dublin, Ga.; grandchildren Aubrey Berchtold of Moultrie, Irby Lowell Allen and wife Teresa of Leesburg, Misty Dawn Griffin and husband Jerry of Poulan, Ga., Shelly Denise Boston and husband Lee and Crestview, Fla., Amanda Hester and Husband Joe of Smiths Station, Ala.; and great grandchildren, Austin Griffin, Nola Boston, Fallon Boston, Brayden Allen, and Ethan Hester.
