Agnes Bell

Agnes Marie Byrd Thomas Bell, 94, of Berlin, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at Leila Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Stone officiating. There will be no public visitation held for Mrs. Bell.
Born on October 24, 1925 in Enigma, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Gifford Byrd and Winnie Sewell Morgan Byrd. She worked as a seamstress for Imperial Drapery and was a member of Leila United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Lee Thomas and Luther Burch Bell; daughter, Gaila A. Pierce; brothers, James B. Byrd and Edgar J. Byrd; and sisters, Mildred Truett, Odessa Dennis, Lola Mae Bryant, Sarah E. Hall.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her son, William Stanley Thomas and wife Ellen of Summerfield, FL; daughter, Wanda S. Colwell of Berlin; grandchildren, Larry Pierce and wife Mary, Wesley Pierce, Laura Taylor and husband Kevin, Dwain Thomas, Nena Thomas, Joshua M. Reyna and wife Bonnie, Louis Reyna and wife Michiko, Paige Colwell, and Shannon Colwell; 16 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
