Alan Warren Howard

Alan Warren Howard, 56, of Norman Park, passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating and Rev. James Williams assisting. Interment will follow in Deep Bottom Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Donnie Willis, David Tillman, Tim Morgan, Paul Alred, Greg Key, Lawrence Willis, Bob Meister, and Chad Gay. Born December 18, 1960 in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late William Garnel "Bo" Howard and Floy Willis Howard. He was the warehouse manager for Clifton Seed and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Floyd Willis and Estelle Cox Willis, and Dee Howard and Maurine McDonald Howard. Survivors include his wife, Valerie Lee Howard; stepsons, Logan Mobley of Byron, and Donald Lee Spradlin of Norman Park; two grandchildren, Zoey Spradlin and Bordy Spradlin; brothers Dean Howard and wife Sally of Thomasville, and Bill Howard of Doerun; Aunts, Betty June Whiddon of Albany, Dorothy Farris and husband Jack of Winston Salem, Janice Howard of Albany, Agnes Truluck of Bufort, SC; and uncle, Dale Howard of Doles. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service, from 2pm-3pm at Baker Funeral Home Chapel.
