Albert Wesley Allen MOULTRIE Albert Wesley Allen 86, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Westview Cemetery, with the Rev. Billy Wilkes officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery Born Nov. 29, 1927, in Waycross, Mr. Allen was the son of the late William Claude Allen and Grace Viola Davis Allen. He was a welder for Smith Brother, a veteran of World War II and Korea, and of the Baptist faith. He was married to Reba Massey Allen of Moultrie. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, John Willie Allen of Moultrie and Albert Wesley Jr. of Rock Bridge Baths, Va.; two daughters, Bobbie Jean Mashburn and husband Tommy of Eatonton, Ga., and Debra Barnes and husband William of Tallahassee, Fla.; two sisters, Frances Allen and Claudine Brinson, both of Thomasville; two sisters-in-law, Kathleen Allen of Samoset, Fla., and Charlotte Allen of Lawrenceville, Ga.; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Ronald Allen Sr. and William Claude Allen Jr.; and two sisters, Rowena Potter and Elizabeth Crosby.
