Albert Franklin Harrod

Albert Franklin Harrod, 80, of Norman Park, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Rev. Walter Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Greg Key, Bubba Newton, Landon Herring, Mike Hiers, Scott Demott, and Dennis Harrod will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on June 19, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Miles Dampier Harrod and Loretta Roberts Harrod. Mr. Harrod was the co-owner of Industrial Frame and Welding Inc. and was a member of Weeks Chapel Methodist Church.
Mr. Harrod is survived by his loving wife, Faye McGee Harrod of Norman Park; sons, Rodney Harrod and wife Benita of Moultrie and Jason Harrod of Norman Park; daughter, Karen Harrod Greeson and husband Greg of Norman Park; grandchildren, Ty Greeson, Megan Herring and husband Landon, Austin Harrod, Briston Harrod, Bentley Hughes and wife Brittany; great-grandchildren, Luke Herring, Koley Hughes, and Grey Hughes; brothers, Ronnie E. Harrod and wife Sarah Anne of Americus and Donnie Harrod and wife Judy of Lancaster, PA; and sisters, Vivian Nance of Cornelia and Pam Strickland of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 6 pm-8 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
