Alene H. Kilgore

Alene Deidre Holt Kilgore, 77, of Moultrie, Georgia passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical Center on Sunday, February 16, 2025. 

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Emerald Hill Baptist Church. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on May 23, 1947, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Joe Marvin Holt, Sr. and Annie Ruth Sheppard Holt Hart. She was retired from Turning Point as a drug counselor and was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Dale Kilgore, Jr.; siblings, Joe Holt, Gary Holt, Ronnie Holt, Donnie Holt, Darrell Holt, John Holt, and Sue Sutton; 

Ms. Kilgore is survived by her son, Glenn Kilgore and wife Regina Lynn of Norman Park; daughter, Teresa Alene Barber and husband Duane of Pavo; grandchildren, Amber Hymer and husband Kenny, Aaron Brewer, Lonnie Chaney and husband David, Jacob Barber and wife Gina, Jesse Ball and wife Christy, Jeremy Ball, Tiffani Price and husband Connor, and Will Kilgore; great-grandchildren, Abby, Evelyn, Brinxley, Racheal, Sterling, Mason, Kaylan, Hudson, Noelin, Zoey, Emma, Madison, and Nathan. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Baker Funeral Home.
