Andrew Dewey Barber Jr.

Andrew Dewey Barber, Jr., 83, of Thomas Co., died Friday, June 11, 2021 at his home.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating.
Born on January 1, 1938, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Andrew Dewey Barber and Inez Truett Barber. Mr. Barber worked for over 30 years as a computer programer and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Faye Baker Barber; and brother, Rodney Barber.
Mr. Barber is survived by his sons, Hans Tapley Barber and wife Natalie of Palmdale, California, and Andrew Duane Barber and wife Teresa of Pavo; grandchildren, Jacob Barber and wife Gina, Luke Barber, Aaron Brewer, Amber Hymer and husband Kenny, and Lonnie Chaney and husband David; great grandchildren, Madison Kay Barber, Mason Hymer, Kaylan Hymer, Noelin Chaney, Zoey Chaney, and Emma Chaney; brothers, James Barber of Montgomery, Alabama, George Barber and wife Carol of Dallas, Georgia, and William Barber and wife Nellie of Deltona, Florida.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 4:00-6:00PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mt. Olive Baptist church 126 Mt Olive Church Rd, Moultrie, GA 31788
