Aubrey Faith Barron, 36, of Valdosta, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Murphy Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

She was born on August 2, 1988, in Moultrie, Georgia to Beth Smithwick and Keith Barron. Aubrey’s love for Disney movies was boundless. She found joy in the magic of each film. Her favorite characters were like family to her, and she found comfort and joy in the stories they told. Aubrey’s passion for music was another light in her life, as the melodies of her favorite tunes brought her peace and happiness.

Aubrey also had a deep love for books. She was captivated by stories that transported her to new worlds, offering her an escape and a place of peace. She especially enjoyed books that filled her imagination and brought comfort during difficult moments.

Above all, Aubrey had a special bond with her stuffed animals. They were her companions, her source of comfort, and a reminder of the love and warmth she so freely gave to others. Holding her stuffed animals close brought her joy, and they were a constant presence throughout her life.

Though Aubrey faced challenges, her strength, kindness, and joyful spirit touched everyone she met. She will be forever remembered for the love she gave, the joy she spread, and the resilience she showed daily.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rachel Monk Smithwick Davis and Lester Smithwick.

Aubrey is survived by her mother, Beth Smithwick of Valdosta; father, Keith Barron of Moultrie; sister, Tara Mckinney and husband Michael of Tifton; aunts and uncles, Melanie Czajkowski and husband Joe of Valdosta, Lawana Jackson and husband Steve of Lake Park, and Joey Smithwick and wife Shelia of Coolidge; and several nieces and nephews.
