Barbara Garrett

Barbara Ann Yeomans Garrett, 81, of Norman Park, died Friday, January 3, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher House officiating. Interment will follow at Omega City Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Boyd "Ted" Coker, Steve Whittington, Don Baker, Bruce Tillery, Chris Hall, and Mason Callahan.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on January 30, 1938, in Ellenton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Murray Franklin Yeomans and Gladys Thornton Yeomans. She worked as a custodian and was a member of Omega United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ellis Garrett; and brother, Frank Yeomans.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her son, Walter Ellis Garrett, Jr. of Norman Park; granddaughter, Stephanie Callahan of Nichols, Georgia;  great grandchildren, James Reynolds, Jolie Callahan, Will Callahan, and Abigail Callahan; sisters, Sandra Kersey, Sarah Kersey and Edna Haire; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
