Barbara Faye Norman Suber, 83, of Moultrie, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at her daughter’s home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Little officiating with Ms. Autumn Griffin providing the special music during the service. Mrs. Suber will be laid to rest at Oakdale Church Cemetery. Mack Suber, Billy Howell, Rod Howell, Keith Meadows, Ken Perry, and Nathan Hobby will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on December 5 1938, in Colquitt Co., Georgia, she was the daughter of Rufus Norman and Mabel Claire Causey Norman Kilgore. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Stones Home Center. She obtained her Marketing Diploma from Moultrie Tech College. She was a dedicated member of Kingwood Baptist Church where she served in many capacities. She was a faithful choir member, and a member of Sounds of Praise.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Bill Suber.
Mrs. Suber is survived by her children, Lester Bill Suber and wife Robin of Moultrie, Kimberly Hobby and husband Daniel of Winter Springs, FL, and Teri Martin and husband Tony of Moultrie; grandchildren, Patrick Martin, Virginia Hobby, Nathan Hobby, Mack Suber and Lynzie Suber; great-grandchildren, Phoebe Martin, Ivy Martin and Isabella Spraggins; and sisters, Patricia Meadows and husband Darrell and Jan Spires, all of Moultrie.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, on the day of the service.
