Barry Smith

Barry Douglas Smith, 58 of Norman Park, died Wednesday February 13, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday February 15, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will be in Oak Dale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Logan Hampton, Cory Smith, Shawn Smith, Mike Manning, Jody Brown and Greg Key. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Promise Keepers Bible Study Group.
Born December 1, 1960 in Moultrie, he was the son of Lucille K. Smith of Norman Park and the late Anson Eugene Smith. He was retired from the Department of Agriculture as a manager. After retirement Barry and his wife started Silly Goat Cheese in Norman Park.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Terry Smith.
Survivors include his mother, wife, Nancy Darlene Hampton Smith of Norman Park; son, Jacob Smith of Norman Park; daughter, Erin Nicole Smith of Norman Park; sister, Jeanie Smith Bowermeister and husband Bobby of Loganville, GA.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 prior to service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
