Beatrice Meads Griffin MOULTRIE Beatrice Meads Griffin, 87, of Moultrie died Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Webb officiating. Interment will be in Enon Cemetery in Thomas County. Born Aug. 11, 1927, in Pelham, Ga., Griffin was the daughter of the late Irene Bozeman Meads and George Lamar Meads. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Alex Griffin Sr., two sons, Garland Griffin Jr. and Jimmy Griffin; a sister, Eula Ashley and a great-grandson, Hunter Griffin. Survivors include three sons, Raymond Griffin and wife Lillian of Arkansas, Alton Griffin and wife Cindy of Fort Valley, Ga., and Billy Griffin and wife Yvonne of Moultrie; two daughters, Bernice Kimsey and Dale Kelley and husband Terry, all of Moultrie; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
