Becky Sauls Moore

Becky Sauls Moore, 59, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, March 2, 2017 at China Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Barrett, Rev. Allen Tillman, and Jason Boykin officiating. Interment will follow at China Grove Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thad Brown, Darius Dawson, Heath Norman, Don Tillman, Stephen Cole, and Jim Turner. She was born on September 20, 1957 in Richland, Georgia to Mamie Lorene Burges and the Late Paul Allen Sauls Sr. She was a teacher at Cox Elementary School and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Ronnie Moore. Survivors include her son, Stephen Moore and fiancée Carolina of Hahira, Georgia; daughters, Hannah Moore Harris and husband Buck of Athens, Georgia and Carly Moore of Perry, Georgia; Mother, Mamie Lorene Burges; brother, Paul Allen Sauls Jr. and wife Sandra of Dothan, Alabama; and brothers in law, Donnie Moore of Adel, and Ricky Moore and wife Pam of Moultrie. Also, a very special group of lifelong friends and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6pm-8pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The family asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Moultrie, 1412 1st St. NE, Moultrie, Georgia 31768. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
