Benjamin William Holloway, 30, of Norman Park, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Colquitt Regional Medial Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 31, at Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Robinson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jimmy Voyles. Burial will follow in Weeks Chapel Cemetery with Logan Hampton, Jacob Smith, Mike Hampton, Jerry Holloway, James Couey and Jonathan Harvin serving as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lindsey, Tony Crawley, Tony Sellers, Duane Wetherington, Allen Elkins, Bill Nevels, Richard Godley, Darrell Kent, Ernest Hunnicutt, Wayne Folsom, Walter Powell and Lindsey Willis. Born Feb. 3, 1982, in Moultrie, he was the son of Jimmy William Holloway and Denise Hampton Holloway of Norman Park. He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Talmadge Hampton, Johnny Holloway and Mary Holloway. Survivors include his brother, Joshua Talmadge Holloway of Norman Park; grandmother, Mary Ruth Hampton of Norman Park; uncles and aunts, Mike and Lesia Hampton and Nancy and Barry Smith, all of Norman Park, Jerry Holloway of Moultrie and Elizabeth Holloway of Moultrie; step-grandmother, Opal Holloway; cousins, Savannah Hampton, Logan Hampton, Jacob Smith, Erin Smith and Ivy Viruet. Visitation will be today, May 30, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The family maybe contacted at the home of Mary Ruth Hampton, 2286 Ellenton-Omega Rd. in Norman Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
