Bernice Dowdy Christopher

Bernice Dowdy Christopher, age 91 of Coolidge, died Friday May 11, 2018 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday May 15, 2018 at Murphy Cemetery. Family will receive friends at graveside following the service. Born May 12, 1926 in Norman Park to the late James Bennett Dowdy and Anna Joe Brock Dowdy, she was a homemaker and of the Lutheran Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; John Staff Christopher, brothers; H. L. Dowdy and Franklin Dowdy and son Rex Christopher. Survivors are sons; Marcus Christopher of Idaho, Terry Christopher of New Jersey, Pat Christopher of Coolidge, daughters; Sandra Roach and husband Owen of Thomasville, Karen Christopher of New Jersey and Cristiane Christopher of Tallahassee, FL., 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
