Betty Jean Whittington Conger

Betty Jean Whittington Conger, 76, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.    Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2017 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Coats, Daniel Hall, Brad Herndon, Justin McGill, Jason Hannon, and Jessie Eubanks.    She was born on January 16, 1941 in Winter Haven, Fla. to the late Ernest James Whittington and Mattie Lou Newton Whittington. She was an CNA and was of the Baptist faith.    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Conger, and Dean Eubanks; daughters, Laura Castleberry, Loretta Eubanks, and Wanda Bryant; brothers, Paul Whittington, Jerry Whittington, and Jack Whittington; and sister, Shirley Furney.    Survivors include her sons, Danny Dean Eubanks and wife Juanita, Carl Lee Eubanks and wife Debra, and Eugene Eubanks, all of Moultrie; 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.    Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 1:30pm-3:00pm prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.    Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
