Betty Jean Wade Dampier, 83, of Moultrie, died on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Pruitt Health- Moultrie.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Pleasant Hill with Bro. Wade Dean officiating.
Born on September 11, 1937 in Quitman, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Frank Wade and Blanche Goldman Wade. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Austin Dampier; sons, Darrell Dampier, and Frankie Evans Dampier; daughters, Sherry Jean Dampier and Lorilee Dampier; and brothers, Benjamin “Buck” Frank Wade, Jr., and James Farrell Wade.
Mrs. Dampier is survived by her brother, Earl Wendell Wade; sister, Jewell Laverne Johnson; and grandchildren, Michael Daniel Dampier, Glenda Lee Dampier, Wade Ashley Dean, Daniel Evans Dampier, Summer Danita Flowers, and Rachel Elana Dampier.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
