Betty Mae Moore Hayes, 83, of Moultrie, died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Pruitt Health Magnolia Manor.
Graveside rites will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert McCoy officiating.
Born on December 11, 1935, in Brooks Co., Georgia, she was the daughter of the late W.T. Moore and Florence Pauline Greene Moore. She worked as a seamstress with Riverside Manufacturing Co. and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Latrelle Smith and Jan Lasseter.
Mrs. Hayes is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Thomas Hayes of Moultrie; son, Timmy Lee Hayes and wife Debra of Moultrie; grandchildren, Rebecca Hayes, Kimberly Hayes, and Morgan Cooper and husband James; great grandson, Matthew Hayes; brother, W.T. Moore, Jr. and wife Louise of Berlin; and sisters, Mary Alice Howell of Thomasville and Norma Jean Conger of Moultrie.
The family will receive friends the day of the service on November 27, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
