Betty Jo's Story MOULTRIE - Betty Jo King, 85, of Moultrie, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Golden Apple Living Center.A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, at 2 p.m., at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shane Ashley officiating.Born on Feb. 10, 1931, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of Clarence L. Bell and Irma Jackson Bell. She was a retired nurse, and of the Baptist faith. After retiring from nursing, she sat with the elderly. She loved her family and loved to travel.She was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Bell; sister, Yvonne Snipes, and brother-in-law, Bobby Bennett.Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Ann Bryd, of Bellevue, Neb.; brothers, Charles Bell and wife Willie Jo, of Doerun, and Oswald Bell and wife Patty, of Moultrie; sisters, Myrna Bennett, of Moultrie, and Margie Glenn and husband Bobby, Keystone Heights, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends following the service.Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.Please leave condolences to the family at www.bakerfuneralhomeofmoultrie.com and www.moultrieobserver.com .
