Betty Hargraves Miakinkoff

MOULTRIE Betty Ann Hargraves Miakinkoff, 81, of Moultrie, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Andy Cashwell will officiate, with Marc Gay and Josh Gay serving as pallbearers. Terry Allegood will serve as honorary pallbearer. Mrs. Miakinkoff was born April 7, 1931, in Thomasville, Ga., to Lissie Johns Hargraves and the late Waldo Emerson Hargraves. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Miakinkoff; and two brothers, James W. Hargraves and Donald E. Hargraves. Survivors include her mother, Lissie Johns Hargraves of Moultrie; one son, Michael A. Miakinkoff and wife Lou Ellen of Moultrie; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Miakinkoff and April Lee Echovich and husband John of Missouri; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
