Betty Dean Taylor Rentz

Betty Dean Taylor Rentz, 83, of Lake Park, died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Eldridge Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Deep Bottom Cemetery. Sayer Lane, Ben McGuire, Lee Adkins, Timmy Thomas, Hunter Rentz, and Robert Sowell will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on November 29, 1935 in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Benjamin Taylor and Bertha Lois Tucker Taylor. She was a Moultrie High School graduate, class of '53, was a beautician, and was a member of Francis Lake Baptist Church in Lake Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, MK Taylor, Bobby Taylor, Jerry Taylor; and sister, Carolyn Martin.
Mrs. Rentz is survived by her husband, John Patrick Rentz of Lake Park; son, Keith Rentz and wife Mary of Quitman; grandchildren, Lauren Rentz, Morgan McGuire and husband Ben, and Hunter Rentz, all of Valdosta; great grandchildren, Leighton Lane, Brayden McGuire, and Bennett McGuire; sisters, Shirley Hiemark of Clearmont, FL and Vicky Hatch of Virginia Beach, VA; and sisters in law, Cora Jean Taylor of Moultrie, Karen Norton and husband Bruce of Norman Park, and Mary Jo Taylor of Moultrie.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
