Betty Weldon Rhodes

Betty Weldon Rhodes, 90, of Moultrie, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at The Residence at Oak Grove.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Born on December 13, 1933, in Doerun, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Homer Weldon and Sallie Riggs Weldon. She worked as a real estate agent and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Rhodes, and daughter, Vicki Lynne Rhodes Albazzaz.

She is survived by her grandson, Tariq Albazzaz; sister, Carolyn Leddy of Lavonia; and special nephew and niece, James and Carol Weldon of Moultrie.
