Betty Rose Williams NORMAN PARK Betty Rose Williams, 80, of Norman Park, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center, in Tifton, Ga. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lennon Howell. Burial will follow in Deep Bottom Cemetery in Norman Park with Jared Williams, Shawn Bostick, Luke Williams, Lawrence Willis, Allen Howard and Travis Baker serving as pallbearers. Born Jan. 5, 1934, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late James Floyd Willis and Estelle Cox Willis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Williams; a brother, Marion Willis; and a sister, Floy Howard. Survivors include her sons, David Williams and wife Brenda of Moultrie and James Williams and wife Kaye of Norman Park; daughters, Kathy Baker and husband Danny of Ellenton and Janet Williams of Valdosta; sister, Agnes Truluck of Beaufort, S.C.; grandchildren, Shellie Weeks and husband Justin, Luke Williams, Shawn Bostick and wife Ashley, Jared Williams and wife Jennifer, Jessica Williams, Sara Moore and husband Dusty, Sam Baker and wife Makenzie, Travis Baker and Katherine Williams-Hamilton; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
