Billy Gene May

Billy Gene May, 78, of Moultrie, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the sanctuary of Berlin Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Moree, Rev. Stanley Norman, and Rev. Clyde Billingsley officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Church Cemetery. Case Snipes, Tyler Snipes, Deston Lindsey, Coleby May, Pax Newsome, and Justin Rountree will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will include, Parker May, Dawson Lane, Chris Hunnicutt, Austin Hunnicutt, Roger Hall, David May, Garrett May, Hudson May, Jarrod May, Andre Airich, Ryan Ward, Danny Ward, Ken Morey, Steven Purvis, Ron Purvis, Audie Rowe, and Jordan Rowe.
Born on October 18, 1940, in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Bill May and Rochelle Walden May. He was a licensed insurance agent. He was member of Berlin Baptist Church where he taught the adult Sunday school class. He was also a member of the Masons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kip May.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Morey May of Moultrie; son Tad May and wife Wendy of Moultrie; daughters, Sarina May and fiancé Mike Dial of Moultrie, and Pam Snipes and husband Randy of Moultrie; grandchildren, Coleby May and Amanda, Tasha Rountree and Justin, Halen Weaver, Case Snipes and Jessica , Tyler Snipes and Amber, Brandie Lindsey and Deston, Pax Newsome, Emily May,  Parker May, and Dawson Lane; great grandchildren, Karison May, Ashton Weaver, Remington Lindsey, Drake Lindsey, Oaklynn Snipes, Kipton Rountree, and Baby Lindsey; brother, Horace May and wife Janette of Berlin; and sister, Sandra May Edwards of Crosland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 6pm - 8pm.
