Blanche C. Scoggins GRIFFIN Blanche C. Scoggins, 84, of Griffin, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Brightmoor Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Chris Holdorf and John Nance officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Moultrie. Born May 20, 1928, in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Mary Emma Plymel Cannon. She was a graduate of Norman Park College and retired from Shiver Elementary School. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, where she attended the Senior Adults Sunday school class. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lyla Scoggins and John and Robin Scoggins; grandchildren Jeremy and Jennifer Scoggins, Ashley and Brad Patton, and Dustin Scoggins; great-grandchildren Rylan, Kendall, Camryn and Chandler; several cousins. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday in the foyer of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
