Robert Lewis Bobby' Bennett MOULTRIE - Robert Lewis "Bobby" Bennett, 76, of Moultrie, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, at First Baptist Church of Norman Park with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles and the Rev. Shane Ashley officiating. Interment will follw at Oak Dale Cemetery. Born on May 7, 1939, in Moultrie, he was the son of John Lewis "Rip" Bennett and Mary Ann McCorkle Bennett. He retired after 37 years from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of the Oak Dale Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Myrna Ruth Bell Bennet; sons, Mark Bennett, of MOultrie, Ga., and Bob Bennett and wife, Maria, of Moultrie, Ga.; granchildren, Blake Bennett, of Moultrie, Ga., Tayler Yost, of Orlando, Fla., Chris Clark, of Moultrie, Ga., Anthony Clark, of Birmingham, Ala., and Nathan Yost, of Texas; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Michael Clark; and special friends, Heidi Hunter of Orlando, Fla., and Marianne Creech and family, of Moultrie, Ga. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
