Bobby was born in Norman Park, Georgia on May 12, 1940. His parents were Lonnie and Nina Hall. He died on October 5, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center due to a long battle with cancer.
He was a farmer for most of his life. He remembered working in Southern Canada for a short time when he was younger and going to Miami, Florida on a truck to help deliver peaches to places in Miami and Plant City. He did that a couple of times and had to sleep in the truck. He took much pride in everything he did. Some friends and neighbors in his later years thought he was a workaholic. He would distribute the pears he grew in his yard in Doerun to people. He also loved to grow flowers and plants. He loved dogs and he had several through the years. Bobby dearly missed his parents, sisters, and brother as they passed away, but he thought he would see them again someday. One day he was working under his vehicle at home in Doerun and there appeared a visitor with him. It was a snake, and they were looking into each other’s eyes. Bobby sure was lucky as it didn’t bite him and crawled away. He would go to his doctor’s offices and tell stories about what had happened to him during his life. He became one of their favorite patients. Bobby will be truly missed by many people.
