Bobby Gene Wishum

Bobby Gene Wishum, 76, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at Select Speciality Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla. A graveside service will be held Sunday, Dec. 20, at 1:30 p.m., at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Albritton officiating.  Born in Tifton on Feb. 2, 1939, he was the son of the late Eddie Lee Wishum and Dorothy Cosper Wishum. He was a minister and a U.S. Air Force veteran.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Branch Wishum.  Survivors include his son, Michael Darren Wishum of Moultrie; his daughter Melanie Ann Kirksey and husband Scott of Moultrie; brothers, Lynn Wishum of Tifton, W.L. Wishum of Tifton, and Jerry Wishum and wife Melba of Tifton; sister, Darlene Wishum of Tifton; and grandchildren, Jack Kirksey, Nathan Kirksey, Caleb Kelly, and Cole Kelly.  Baker Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
