Bonnie Rogers Salter, 71, of Crosland, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at her home.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Deep Bottom Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.
Born on October 22, 1948, in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was the daughter of the late John Emory Rogers and Verdie Fletcher Rogers. She worked with the United States Postal Service where she retired with many years of dedicated service and was a member of Crosland Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Wells and Emory Rogers; sister, Margie Darby and Linda Rogers; and daughter in law, Diann Salter.
She is survived by her husband, Randle Carol Salter of Crosland; sons, Lonny Salter of Crosland, Drew Salter of Oregon, and Lee Salter and wife Lana of Savannah; daughter, Sky Salter NeSmith and husband Luke of Sycamore; grandchildren, John Salter, Briana Salter, Chance Salter, Lauren Salter, Maya Salter, Tate Salter, Beck Salter, Bo NeSmith, Reid NeSmith and Lucy NeSmith; great grandson, John Salter; sisters, Jane Blanchard and husband Bob and Rae Young and husband Roger, all of Tampa; sisters in law, Pat Wells of Florida, and Laverne Rogers of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
A drive through visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Deep Bottom Cemetery from 10:00am until 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crosland Baptist Church 135 Crosland Scooterville Road, Omega 31775
