Brenda Gail Gibson

Brenda Gail Prevatt Gibson, 66, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wilkes and Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Timmy Glenn, Valentine Oliva, Caden Maxwell, Neil Gibson, Bradi Pickett, and Dylan Tillery will serve as pallbearers. Rhylen Carlton will serve as honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow at Greenfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Born on January 4, 1957, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Francis Prevatt and Bessie Collier Prevatt. Mrs. Gibson was a loving and caring mother and meme. She retired from Colquitt Regional Medical Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant and was of the Holiness faith.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by her husband of 50 years, James O'Neil Gibson I of Moultrie; daughters, Angie Gay (Bobby), Belinda Gossett (Ken), and Staci Burgess; son, James Gibson II (Brandi Edwards); grandchildren, Adriana Perry (Brittany), Kelsey Cooper (Taylor), Caden Maxwell, Shyanne Gibson, Laurie Gibson, Neil Gibson, Dylan Tillery, Josh Gay (Deirdre), and Ryan Martin; great-grandchildren, McKinley Faircloth, Zoey Carlton, Rhylen Carlton, Hadley Cooper, Ansleigh Tillery, Blayden Gay, Blakely Gay, and Darby Gay; siblings, Marie Thompson (Dean), Ann Jeffrey, and Matt Prevatt (Diane); special friends, Carol and Carol Dean, Paulette Hopper; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
The family and friends will gather at 431 Newsom Road Moultrie, GA 31788.
