In Loving Memory of Bueris Keaton Crumpton
August 9, 1923– December 7, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bueris Keaton Crumpton, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and pillar of love and grace to all who knew her. She peacefully departed this world on December 7, 2024, at the remarkable age of 101.
Born in Mitchell County, Georgia in 1923, Bueris embodied the strength and spirit of her generation. She dedicated her early years to her career at Perry Pharmacy in Perry, Ga where her caring demeanor touched the lives of many in the community. She devoted herself to her most cherished role as a housewife, tirelessly serving her family with unwavering love and commitment. An extraordinary cook, her kitchen was the heart of her home, where countless memories were made over shared meals and laughter. She found her greatest joy in nurturing her family, leaving an indelible mark on their lives with her wisdom, patience, and endless generosity.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Woodrow Crumpton, and her son, Michael Crumpton.
She is survived by her loving son, Roger Crumpton and wife Teresa of Warner Robins, and her daughter-in-law, Yaoska Crumpton of Moultrie and adoring grandchildren, Nancy (Chris) Rollins of Cairo, Kirk (Kaycee) Crumpton of Perry, Tyler Crumpton of Moultrie, Fernanda Tucker (Zach) of Moultrie and Marcela Crumpton of Moultrie; and her precious great-grandchildren Chase Graham, Amberly Gilliland (Caleb), Kenzi Thompson (Coy), Kennedy Crumpton, Kate Crumpton and Michael Tucker. Her family will forever treasure the memories of her loving presence and the example she set for living a life filled with kindness, purpose, and grace.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 am at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church, Sparks Georgia.
Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Colquitt Region Hospice, in her memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
