Carey Eldridge Spires Jr., 51 of Norman Park, died Thursday November 15, 2018 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday November 18, 2018 at Mt. Zion Church with Rev. Robert Alexander officiating, assisted by Rev. Warren Gilpin and Eugene Strickland. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery
Born November 30, 1966 in Valdosta to the late Carey Eldridge Spires Sr. and Ethel Lee Griffin Spires.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carey Eldridge Spires Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Ethel Lee Griffin Spires; daughter, Kaylee Nicole "Nikki" Terrell and Mark of Norman Park; brother, Jamie Spires and Melissa of Norman Park; grandchildren, Nathan Lane Harrell and Chevy Cane Bivins; nephews, Joshua Welch, Noah Welch, and Cody Welch; true love, Angela Simmons Smith.
Special friends include Jerry West and Kerri West
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
