Carl W. "Little" Tillman

Carl W. “Little” Tillman, 84, of Moultrie, died at Colquitt Regional Senior Care on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at China Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jackie Cabaniss officiating. Interment will be held at China Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Scott Keith, Don Moore, Ricky Moore, Jeff Lunceford, Ralph Hall, Jr., and Jason Tillman.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Born on May 24, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the last surviving member of his generation, the final link to the Carlie and Ethel Tillman family. Having outlived his beloved brothers and sister, Carl carried forward love, wisdom, and values instilled in him by his family. He was a devoted and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Born with a deep connection to the land, he dedicated his life to farming. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Eunice Hall, Ruby Moore, Elvenia Griffin, Margie Keith, and Hansel L. Tillman.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Gale Tucker and husband Marvin, Lisa Schofill (Jack), Scott Keith and wife Missy, Don Moore, Ricky Moore (Deborah), Jeff Lunceford, Ralph Hall, Jr. and wife Jane, and Jason Tillman and wife Tammy.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Colquitt Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care and support during Mr. Little’s time with them.
