Carla Marie Lawson Huff Services for Carla Marie Lawson Huff, 57, of Hahira, are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Rick Strickland and Bro. Michael Lawson will officiate and interment is in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Huff, Michael Lawson, David Lawson, Daniel Lawson, Timmy Lawson, Phillip Lawson, Mac Lawson and Matthew Lawson. Mrs. Huff died Sat. Sept 29, 2012 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie. Born Aug. 29, 1955, in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Carolyn Ann Chenier Lawson of Moultrie and the late Wetzel Hoover Lawson Sr. She attended ABAC College for nursing classes and was a dietary aide at Brownwood Nursing Home. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Louis Huff. Survivors include son, David Huff and wife Ashli of Hahira; sisters, Dawn Bell (Roy), Liz Davis (Bernie), Shelly Beck (Tim), Becky Mathews (Frankie), Melinda Pollard (Reggie); brothers, Michael Lawson, David Lawson (Angela), Daniel Lawson (Melissa), Timmy Lawson (Joann), Phillip Lawson (Wendy), Mac Lawson, Matthew Lawson (Heather); grandchildren, Joanna Mathis, Alyssa and Hayden Huff; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Lacey & Kaiden Mathis;Special aunt; Aunt Carmelita and best friend, Susan Fletcher. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Krissi White; and a brother, Henry Lawson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., tuesday Oct. 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
