Carole Ann Norman Powell

Carole Ann Norman Powell, 78, of Norman Park, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2pm in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Norman Park with Rev. Jimmy Voyles and Rev. Jody Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Church Cemetery. Ryan Diers, Reid Diers, Jason Pittman, Harrison Powell, Victor Martin, Joel Griffin, and Michael Weeks will serve as pallbearers.
Born on November 27, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Leon Thomas Norman and Wilma Meeks Norman. She retired from Nations Bank after 32 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Norman Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Norman; sister, Cindy Norman; and her son in law, Larry Diers.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Gene Powell of Norman Park; son, Jeff Powell and wife Kay of Norman Park; daughter, Kim Diers of Norman Park; grandchildren, Ashley Diers Pittman and husband Jason of Moultrie, Ryan Diers and wife Whitney of Norman Park, Reid Diers and wife Stephanie of Norman Park, and Harrison Powell of Norman Park; great grandchildren, Addison Reid Diers; and sister, Norma Jean Nicholson and husband Don of Norman Park.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00pm- 2:00pm at First Baptist Church Norman Park
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
