Catherine Youngblood

Catherine Marie Jordan Youngblood, 62, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at her residence.

Visitation with the family will be held in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

She was born on February 16, 1963, in Moultrie, Georgia, to Gurland Jackson Jordan, Sr. and the late Helen Marie Perkins Jordan. She was part of Colquitt Co. High School graduating class of 1981. After high school, she worked as a line worker at Caterpillar, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and dedication to her job. Outside of work, Catherine had a variety of interests that brought her joy. She had a love for crossword puzzles, often seen with a pencil in hand, tackling each challenge with precision and determination. She found peace and happiness in fishing, often spending hours by the water, and enjoyed the quiet moments of reflection that it brought. Catherine also had a great talent for cross-stitching, creating beautiful, intricate pieces that were cherished by her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jackson Jordan, Jr. and Glenn Jordan.

She is survived by her father, Gurland Jackson Jordan, Sr. of Moultrie; brothers, Michael Jordan of Moultrie and Matthew Jordan, Sr.; daughters, Kimberly Reynolds and husband Bryan and Sara Barron and husband Duane of Boston; son, Matthew Patrick Jordan, Jr. and wife Terron of Moultrie; grandchildren, Abbygail Barron, Aaron Mckaughan, Jr., Annabell Barron, Karen Barron, Nikki Barron, Ethan Mckaughan, Lily Reynolds, and Sean Patrick Jordan; and several extended family members and friends.
