Cecelia Kay Sain, “Mama Kay” 67, of Moultrie, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 11 am in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5 pm-7 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on October 25, 1955, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Elonzo Truett and Irene Smith Truett. She retired from Colquitt County 911 Emergency Center Operations and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers In-law Lamar Watson and Kenny Pope; and grandmother “Granny Smith.”
Mrs. Sain is survived by her loving husband, Ronald (Ronnie) Sain; daughters, Tonya Sanders and husband Jeff of Albany, and Ronica Reid and husband Chris of Hartsfield; grandchildren, William Brody Reid and Chloe Rose Sanders; sisters, Maxine McMullen and husband Terry of Moultrie, Barbara Watson of Tennessee, Linda Pope of Moultrie, Amy Dalton and husband David of Moultrie; very special nieces, Deena Starkey, Cindy Tillman, April Smith, Christy Beavauis, Melissa Pope, Daylee Dalton, and Denim Dalton; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
