Cecil Ray Bryant JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Cecil Ray Bryant, 57, of Norman Park, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks with Pastor Junior Dees officiating, assisted by Pastor Larry Daughtry. Burial will follow in Buck Creek Cemetery with Willie Prince, Jamie Pilcher, Greg Waites, Dennis Waites, Grayson Campbell, Robert Kincade and Collin Bentley serving as pallbearers. Born May 31, 1956, in Adel, he was the son of the late Mallory D. Bryant and Lena Evelyn Merriman Cannon. He was the owner of BMC Construction and Company and was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Sue Bryant. Survivors include his wife, Gina Hood Bryant of Norman Park; daughter, Brittany Bryant Pilkinton and husband Derek of Sycamore, Ga.; step-daughters, Marilyn Bullard and husband Jerrod of Adel, Ga., Ashlyn Joiner of Norman Park, and Rebekah Joiner of Sparks, Ga.; step-son, Jonathan Joiner of Norman Park; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
